I have always been creating. Growing up, my aspirations for the future changed with the seasons, but there was one thing I always came back to: art. No matter what form it took, no matter what materials I used, I simply wanted to make.

And so I did.

In 2016, I began sharing my art on Instagram, where I created my first account, @faithetheredgefineart. Soon after, I began offering custom pet portraits. At first, it was a small side project to help support my hobby, but with practice and time I was receiving consistent commissions, and I knew that I wanted my passion to become my career.

Even though I love realism, I also wanted to share the art from my own imagination, the kind that let me express myself more freely. So I created a second account: @faithetheredgeillustration. As I began to create content for this second audience, I found that not only was I free to experiment with interesting concepts, but I also had more freedom to try new mediums, and so I found my main medium for illustration, digital art.
For me, art is a part of who I am, and no matter how many artworks I create, I will always have more to learn. There is something magical about creating something with your own hands, and being able to share it with others. It's personal, beautiful, and timeless. I firmly believe in the connection that art creates, for both creator and client. In a world where we have almost any image at our fingertips, humanity still turns to art as a way to grow and express emotion. And that in itself is a reason to keep creating.
I strive to improve with each piece, whether I'm illustrating a book or creating a portrait to eternalize the memory of a beloved pet. And because I could never choose just one, I do both!

I want to always do my best, and my goal is this: to bring satisfaction and joy to every individual I have the honor of working with.
